I have been running refs courses and saying that if a player goes down through injury the game should be stopped immediately. In chatting with the other senior referees I would like you to modify this slightly: If an injury occurs in attack, especially around the post area, do NOT stop the game until the attacking move has finished. My view used to be that if your hand was in direct contact with both the ball and your leg then it was Football as you were using your legs to gain an advantage. Now I'm unsure. Games became very inconsistent. If the referee is not used to work with a linesman and in addition the linesman has no experience as linesman than you have the ingredients for maximum confusion and frustration. As coach from MKB I am not in favor of a linesman or lineswomen. Also we want to go for the fair play cup some please minimize the obstacles.
