All teams know how we take our free pass and have put some good defense tactics against this.(Which I think is great as it challenge the team)

I have noticed during different games and with different referees that

If an injury occurs in attack, especially around the post area, do NOT stop the game until the attacking move has finished.

By this I mean: player through on goal, attacker trips and falls:in this case allow the running in ...

Original Email from John,

Dear all,

As coach from MKB and referee I have a kind request to all of you. ( and yes I know your request that I need to stop with complaining and talking to ref as player and coach. Have said this I do believe that I am getting better)

Football - touching the leg or hand being in contact with the leg

So is it Football if the ball does not touch the leg, but touches the hand which is in direct contact with the leg and aids control........
My view used to be that if your hand was in direct contact with both the ball and your leg then it was Football as you were using your legs to gain an advantage. Now I'm unsure. Any views?

Linesman yes or no

Last year we had several games with a linesman and to be honest this was a pain for players and coach. Games became very inconsistent. If the referee is not used to work with a linesman and in addition the linesman has no experience as linesman than you have the ingredients for maximum confusion and frustration.

As coach from MKB I am not in favor of a linesman or lineswomen.

Also we want to go for the fair play cup some please minimize the obstacles.

Hi all,

so at the start of the year we said that all instances of football should be called.

There is a thread running currently on korfballforums regarding the football rule:

http://www.korfball.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4028

can everyone please go and take a look.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING THIS SEASON. You will continue to referee football as strictly and as anally as before. However we shall review this for next season (thank god)
